Binghamton, Mon. Nov. 14, 6:30pm, FS1/570AM-BAT4

Just home, nothing to say but LoVett & Ponds are something else. Crafty, better shooters than I thought, confident, quick & destined for great things. They alone are worth the price of admission.

Proud of my Alma Mater Binghamton tonight. Played hard without our best player. We had a pre game dinner and had the honor of having Jack Kaiser speak briefly.

I was at that game. Lovett & Ponds are the real deal. So fast, both have terrific quick hands defensively and can really score. Not too mention play team basketball.

The big fellas need to finish around the rim a little stronger & hopefully Tonight's FT% was just an off night. RF Looked tentative.
Good win!!

Side note ..... these 630 games are brutal. Traffic wise. Maybe the new AD can work on that with the powers to be.

Was a fun game tonight. However, I came away with more complaints tonight then i did Friday.

Defense needs to improve a lot, and that also needs to be it for Mullin experimenting with lineups. Cant afford those lulls we had tonight because of a poor lineup against Minnesota and in Atlantis.

Everything that i wanna say about Lovett and Ponds has already been said. On to Friday

Tonight the team showed their inexperience in spots. The blowout was the result of a huge talent disparity and the shooting of Lovett and Ponds. On D, gave up too much penetration and too many open looks from 3. Although there were some nice passes, overall they didn't move the ball as well as the 2 previous games, and their shot selection was questionable. As good as we look, there will be vast improvement by the end of the season.

Friday should shed more light on team progress and voids.

Saw "Never Nervous Purvis" on comp ticket line, quite a big man, not the skinny guy many of us remember. :)

TV deal. Guess rankings (bad) would be the only reason they would change the times of games in the future.

I am traveling in Los Angeles (ugh) and was sitting in a car (what else in traffic) near Redondo Beach. I realized it was about 5 PST and thought to myself "I wonder how St John's is making out against Binghamton"... Lo and behold as traffic came to a dead stop I looked across the road, into a barber shop (go figure) and I caught a glimpse of Lovett hooking up with Yakwe on the Carnesecca Arena floor. It looked like things were going pretty well. It made me feel close to home and good that someone was actually watching the game this far away.

I can't wait to watch the tape and will be home in time for the battle in Minnesota.

Lav's analysis of our team on FS1 was spot on
He does a good job in the studio

Talking was always his strong-suit.
It was the actual coaching and recruiting that left a lot to be desired.
