Faye and Imran may not be comparable, but he and Prey are. They both appeared at the very end of second round mocks. He and Imran were not teammates.
Imran played on one of Reggiana's junior teams but may have been called up briefly.
Momo Faye is a member of the senior team that competes in the A Division and is a legit young center in Italy.
I doubt that the senior team "loans" him out as they need him in order to be competitive in their league play.
I'm not sure he would even play, or want to play, on a college level.
Would have liked to have seen more dunks around the basket. May have some skills but doesn’t look too strong but I guess it’s big man desperation time.Looks more skilled than any other big sub weve had!

Don’t know how much help he will give to Zuby going against him, especially with Zuby’s strength.
“Desperate” is no longer a part of St. John’s basketball vocabulary and will not be as long as Rick Pitino is here.We are far from desperate
I am saying he may not be "academically" qualified for NCAA competition even though he attended secondary school in Italy since he was 16. Much of that was studying the Italian language.Faye and Imran may not be comparable, but he and Prey are. They both appeared at the very end of second round mocks.
Faye would not be a kid that walks in and dominates college — if that is what you are alluding to by not being sure he even wants to play in college. He would not start over Zuby.
Tamba looks like he put on some weight since his first year of college basketball and looks more mobile than Maker did in practices. IMO, he would be more than adequate as a backup center to spell Zuby and Prey.Eh.....on Tamba.
The other thing that makes me skeptical about him entering college is this is his second time testing the NBA waters. I'm pretty sure the rule is you have to enter if you test a third time.I am saying he may not be "academically" qualified for NCAA competition even though he attended secondary school on Italy since he was 16. He is more of a long pure center than Zuby but not as physically gifted. Nor does he have a reliable shot outside the paint.
End of story since I don't think he is the picture.
I was only responding to Dk's post.
I didn't think "academically qualified" was still a thing... lolololThe other thing that makes me skeptical about him entering college is this is his second time testing the NBA waters. I'm pretty sure the rule is you have to enter if you test a third time.

Who played Center for the countries that Portugal played? He played center for Portugal national teams and looked really good. He struggled sharing the space with Zuby, which tells me he’s used to being the 5.
No clue, but I remember him being the only one on the court that looked over 6'7 most of the time and seeing him operate in the middle on both ends.Who played Center for the countries that Portugal played?
Brook Jersey just texted us a former WV 4 Star decommit on campus today too
Last name Odih
That explains why the walk on entered the portal. This staff even at tail end of filling out roster never ceases to amaze.
