Frankly, I'm stunned that Georgetown's D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera picked #BIGEAST preseason POY. I assumed one of the Nova guys would be chosen.

Edit: Deleted what I had originally written ... had confused Hilliard with PC's Henton, who was named to the BE pre-season 2nd team, and who, as I noted in my original post, Ed Cooley passionately described at today's event as one of the top three players in the Big East.

C'mon Lav!

I am with you about Hilliard. I am certainly not the fan of him that you are, but I think Nova should be given every benefit of the doubt after that tremendous season. They are starting off head and shoulders above the rest of the league, but I think we match up with them extremely well.

I can't believe Dunham made this list. I'd take his teammate Roosevelt Jones over him and Hilliard and Henton as well.

Whatever problem Arbitello has with Lavin is fine, but the way he handled it by airing his dirty laundry on Twitter is moronic. Feel free to search CTK on these forums and look at the things said about the staff when it came to CTK.
