Going to get 100 perhaps. BEthune C is undersized & horrible, but Johnnies doing what they have to in fluid fashion
 
If Owens can run the floor, block some shots, receive on pick & rolls and get a few put backs that is an enormous plus.
 
Also no-one holding the ball too long stagnating the offense which I'm really enjoying
 
Mussini shooting well w luxury of not having to handle rock. He also looks like an extra in Bronx Tale.
 
Scoreboard lists Ellison, Ahmed, ponds, Owens, and sima as starters. No lovett. Surprising

Nice of coach Mullin to start 4 New York area kids with their families in the arena. Lovett will be the most important player in the game and makes no difference if he starts.

Could be
1) he wants Marcus to sit with him and Mitch for a few minutes to figure out what the other team is doing ; or
2) there are a ton of great kids locally in the 2018 and 2019 classes and he is starting the local kids as a recruiting tool.
Either way I am fine with it.
 
The opposition is real crap tonight, but man this team looks way better. Also as many of us suspected Mussini is a big time factor when he doesn't have to run the offense as a PG and can just spot up and shoot.
 
You're always going to have a few cupcake games on your schedule. When you play these games, it's more about how you play.

We haven't looked this good in an early season cupcake game in a while.

Team is fun to watch.
 
Freudenberg looks a little nervous. He had two jumpers rim out early & then got a bit out of sync. All part of the process as they say Hit a 3 Richard! :)
