Last game Macura got in Bashir's head and got him in foul trouble very quickly. That can't happen if we want to win today.

Really hoping refs let the teams play today (no quick whistles). Xavier is lethal at foul line (roughly 80% as a team) . Wonderful to be retired for first time during March Madness, so watching this noon game is no problem! Go JOHNNIES!!
Mullin said in yesterday's post game interview with the FS1 crew that Xavier is the most physical team in the Big East. Our guys can't get in to early foul trouble and we are going to have to get something out of Alibegovic with regard to defense , rebounding and toughness. Ahmed is going to have to contain Macura a little bit. Let's go Johnnies!!! They can do this!!
I see an opening spread of Xavier as six point favorites. That is consistent with our other two close losses with them this season of five and six point points.

We played Xavier close twice and hopefully the 3rd time will be a charm. Hopefully Alibegovic plays his finest game because Xavier is big and physical. Ali, Ali, Ali!

Paultz, we can't complain about turnaround time. We are lucky (2nd chance) to have a game given our conference record. I would like to keep this close early as this might put some pressure on the X-Men. As stated above, and really for all our games we need to limit foul problems as we have a limited bench. Heck, I believe Clark and Owens both fouled out late last night. We would really have been up against it if that game went to the wire or god forbid OT.
