Win or lose tomorrow, neither outcome would surprise me.  I just hope we play hard, hit our free throws, defend the 3, and that the refs are fair and competent.

I hope CMA has a defense for Freeman - Liberty . Can’t let him go off for 40 again, if we are  are to have a chance to win .  Who can guard him ? Wheeler ? Mathis ? Posh ?   I think it’s a pick ‘em game tomorrow night .   The Friendly Confines of the World’s Most Famous Arena have not be very kind to us in a long time .  Let’s hope that changes and we get past the Blue Demons .

we cannot defend 94 feet.  Ends up in tricky tack fouls which puts them in the bonus early.  Last game featured endless fast breaks,  open looks for threes,  dunks.  Gotta change something,  it ain’t working pressing them.

Agree - No trapping... didn't watch the Marquette game in full- but not sure when i saw the last steal out of a trap in the full court press. Let Posh or Mathis pick up 3/4 court/fouline... give them a shorter shot clock. Limit the open 3s / be aware on switches (DePaul Bigs had their way as well last time).

Feel having Soriano healthy will be a difference here. We come away with a hard fought W.

I think we had a steal out of the press late in the Marquette game.

“I think it’s a pick ‘em game tomorrow night”

If someone predicted this at the start of this season, against a pre season bottom feeder like DePaul, we all would have thought him/her nuts. Reality really does bite. ?

I'm almost as tired of hearing about how other teams don't want to play us, as I am of hearing about CMA's consecutive season winning record. If other teams don't want to play us, who do they want to play instead, except for Georgetown and maybe Butler and Depaul? Or do they not want to play anyone?
Exactly my sentiments, such BS

CMA says :
Maybe it’s our time,” Anderson said.

Unfortunately, there is no recent evidence to suggest that is the case. I'm visiting my brother in Sarasota this week and going fishing tomorrow with him and my son and hopefully to his house to cook some fish we catch. If I see any of the Depaul game, it will be the second half and I'm just as glad that is the case.
I'll say it again, if we can't beat Depaul in MSG this program has gone decidedly backwards..Even Mullin's last team which had almost stopped competing beat Depaul in the Wednesday night game.

Is there a particular section where posters will be hanging out at halftime of the DePaul game?

Need to at least beat DePaul to have a solid shot at the NIT. Right now most bracketologists have us as a 5 or 6 seed, but the 7 and 8 lines are taken up by auto bids.

At this point anything short of a BET championship would be a failure of a season, but making the NIT would be better than nothing. Believe it or not we have not made an actual bracket game (not PIG) since Lavin's final year.

Bracketologists for the NIT?  Surely you jest

He's not jesting and stop calling him Shirley.

I like Mike Vaccaro, but did St. John's pay him to write that article?
