(BET @MSG-Game-2) Marquette, Thur. Mar. 14, 7pm, FS1 / 970AM

Knew it would be nearly impossible to beat Marquette a 3rd time. We are not doing much to further our cause.
 
This really comes down to making shots. Defense is there, just missing everything. 2nd half could change, just need a few more shots to go down. I do not like this Marquette team one bit.

Look we are getting blown out. Tells me we do not deserve to be here This didn’t bode well even if and it is still if we get into the ncaa No way if we were a good team we have a half like this fans deserved a better game from player and staff

Really? Teams' run their sets ala their system. You can see what they're attempting to accomplish.

All I can think right now is if we make the Tourney. We’ll win our first game because our backs are against wall and then we’ll be playing with so-called house money and we’ll get killed in the weekend game.

Offensive spacing and ball movement got to get better on offense.
Got to switch to Zone. Marq hitting 6 /14 fro 3.

We’re 1-11 from 3. No we havnt been doing that all season. If we are just an underwhelming 3-11 this game looks completely different. First 4 minutes of this half are huge.

Don't think a zone is the way to go...They will pick it apart and besides we'll foul them shooting it. We don't have the legs to close out and they're hitting the open shots.

Just my thought. The only way we'll get back in this game is as everyone has been saying. Spacing, better ball movement and dribble drive and kick out and HIT the open shots.

Our zone is kinda sloppy, and Marquette shoots it well, so that may not bode well. If this team knew how to play a zone then I'd switch to a 1-3-1 or 1-2-2 for a team like Marquette.

It can work, depending on what and how you play it. I don't trust us.
 
Can't help but think "law of averages". Beating Marq 3x straight this yr is a miracle. Unfortunately we got the red hot version of them tonight where they can't miss.
