BET-Marquette, Wed. Mar. 9, 9:30 pm, FS1 & 970 AM

An overly optimistic thought about our possible road ahead. Our path to winning the Big East Tournament and getting the automatic NCAA bid is four wins over these likely opponents:

1) Marquette
2) Xavier
3) Seton Hall
4) Villanova

While the odds of this happening are off the charts astronomical, the strange thing is that we were in 7 of our 8 loses against these four opponents. In fact we could have won most of those games with a better break or two. I know this is way too positive a perspective given our abysmal 1 and 17 conference season, but a guy can dream can't he.

To quote Jim Valvano "survive and advance"

I'M JUST HOPING THAT WE KEEP IT RESPECTABLE
 
My only criticism on this season is that we have not improved our ability to take care of the ball.

It's the final game of the year and we are throwing the ball into the stands the same way we were in November.
 
Know roster is horror & help is on the way, but to be honest the "getting better each day" cliche doesn't line up this year. Sorry.
 
I know we stink and all, and it prob doesn't matter - but that was not an offensive foul on Johnson.

... Raf keeps talking about this being Jones' last year.

Doesn't christian jones have another year of eligibility?
 
Someone should introduce Lavin to Christian jones since last season Lavin seemingly did not know Jones existed.
