Less than a month ago on February 18, 2024, the famous Pitino rant caused a stir around college basketball, and not in a good way.

Just told my wife we’ve been married 15 years and this is the first time we get to watch a Friday Big East Tournament game. Just incredible! Been a diehard fan 38 years and this feels so good! It’s been too long! Wonderful effort by the kids and masterful coaching by Pitino and staff. I think we’re dancing, which was all I could hope for this season. From my perspective, we’re paying with house $ the rest of the way.
