Best dunker debate

This was a Fun thread.
I don't agree with the inclusion of Felipe Lpoez under the category of busts.
He had a stellar college career and I believe is in the top 5 of all time scorers.
Felipe did have a mediocre professional career but played many years in the professional leagues around the world.
At 6'5 he had that bastard height that required him to be a superior shooter to succeed in the NBA but he was a very average scorer and ball handler. In college he also suffered from being coached(?) by one of the first "busts" in coaching in the post Carnesecca era.

I agree about Lopez, he was a good college player. He was though a bust when you compare results to expectations. Same with McCoy, he had a respectable career as well. Nurideen Lindsey was a bust in the conventional sense. Avery Patterson. Alpha Bangura. It's a long list.

Exactly.

It's kind of like Maher's Jessica Alba fantasy. If I were a betting man I would bet he would still enjoy it but it wouldn't live up to some of those wild dreams of his.

Nurideen Lindsay was in a category all by himself.
Clearly a gifted basketball player, he epitomized "this is your game on drugs" category.
He mentally could not escape the ghetto culture that chewed him up and spit him out.
