What time is it being announced today? The friar board is claiming the POY has been leaked and it is henton and Dunn splitting it. Obviously wont be sir Dom because he couldn't even make the first team, lol what a joke.

I saw them say 4:30. I can't imagine those two split it, but then again I wouldn't have guessed Dom wouldn't be 1st team.

If it is split it should be one of them and Hilliard.

The leak also has Dom winning Most Improved Player

Yes and defensive player with Dunn. I haven't followed PC that close this year friarJ, do you think henton deserves co POY over Hilliard?

Hentons numbers look really solid, but maybe because of how good Dunn has been, there hasn't been much talk about henton recently. I don't know. My guess was co-POY Dunn and Hilliard.

Providence is good and Dunn and Henton are very good, but I can't remember a 4th plce team in the conference getting this many accolades. If Dunn and Henton are co players of the year and they still finished 4th maybe Cooley should get fired?

hard to leave Hilliard out of it, but he goes through stretches were he is a no show. Henton did that one game all year and it was senior day against Butler and it cost us.

I'm not sure who will share it with Dunn but to me he clearly is the best player in the conference. Rumor has it he will come back for one more year. He willl get his degree and be a favorite for all national awards. Seeing that kid play this year after all the injuries just makes me shake my head at what a team Cooley had lined up last year with Cotton at the 2 instead of the point.

That's so true. You guys would've been ridiculous. Sometimes I think of how good SJU could've been if Harkless had stayed 4 years

And Pelle had qualified.

But it's all shoulda coulda woulda. PC also could have had Ledo on a team with those 2 if he was able to meet NCAA eligibility standards AND Brandon Austin if he wasn't a sexual predator.

Exactly the what if's will make you crazy.

Here is one for you guys that you may not have heard before. Rick Barnes had a loaded team in the early 90's and had Jason Williams (White Chocolate) and Greg Bruckner committed to the Friars and had one other player committed. He went to the school President and said I have a kid that is transferring at the end of the year and I need to tell this other kid that he can come to PC.

The President at the time could have cared less about sports and said "At Providence College we don't offer scholarships to kids when we don't have them". That player was Tim Duncan and Barnes left after the season and went to Clemson and PC let Williams and Bruckner out of their LOI's and we proceeded to suck for two decades outside of 97 and 04.

Rumors now floating around that Dunn and Arch share the award. That would be even more of a shocker.
there's no way archiedjackamo wins that award.

I think Arch is a great player. He's patient...doesn't force ANYTHING and does what his team needs at that moment. He's also as clutch as they come. I feel like Nova is too loaded for him to win the award, though. You can make a case for every single starter on Nova being all-league, and a player would really have to perform off the charts to overcome that and be named P.O.Y. IMO.

I'd be surprised if it isn't Hilliard. But then again, I'm usually surprised at these things. The fact that Pointer wasn't on the first team was a joke.

Arch is a player than any coach would want on his team, but sharing POY with Dunn just doesn't sound right.
