Had their game with Detroit Mercy cancelled last night, due to the wildfires, so they will have a couple of extra days rest. That could go either way, but against Yale, they looked awful offensively.

Half the team might be sick if the air doesn't improve soon. I'm about ready to order a WWI-style gas mask off Amazon.

Ticketmaster is such a piece of shit. It's hard just to search to find the games on their system for Monday and Tuesday.

Also - where do I put the code in ?

Edit: I figured it out - if you are buying tickets - you enter the promo code on the screen when you select your seats, that shows the arena seating. There is a small box to enter the code right in the middle, at the top of the screen. (You don't enter the promo code when you pay. You have to do in the screen before that.)

Promo code worked for Tuesday night as well.

I am hoping to make it out to Barclay Center on Tuesday night. Hopefully (and thanks SJ NYC) I can use the discount code.
I saw this video of California loss to Yale. Appears a guard transfer is the scorer. Here it is if anyone interested:=onebox

Yep. I did the same thing. I've never sat court-side for any kind of game. It should be fun.

Thanks for this. I ended up using SeatGeek (cheaper fees than Stubhub) and it still comes out to cheaper than ticketmaster with the coupon. Seems like plenty of seats are available.

Kenpom predicts:

Cal 67
St. John’s 80

With a probability of a win at 87%

Normally I would be concerned with our defensive rebounding against any team that has size over us. However, the team really did a good job boxing out the Rutgers big men so I'm hoping that trend will continue.

I think it could potentially be worse for Cal than that if we play close to the way we played last game...

Anything less than 5 minutes of bench players at the end and still coming away with the 10+ NET cap would be disappointing to me.
