Balamou To Play

Say it is so... Fingers crossed. If we get those 2 cleared, not only we dancin, we advancin... We'll be a terror with that kind of depth and talent...

I know this thread is in reference to Balamou, but I'd like to add to this....

I just posted (on another thread) that "we're so close to making that proverbial leap."

If Sanchez and Bourgault are finally eligible, then we make that leap this season. I can't stress enough how important those two will mean to us going forward. They'll not only bring experience, but they'll bring skill, size, and depth.

Getting those two, as well, as Branch in December..... Oh, man!

After watching yesterday's game, I don't envy Lavin...it will be diificult to manage time for these guys...Nice problem to have!

Does anyone know if either player made the trip to Charleston?
 
Well, in academia if you don't give sources it's considered invalid. The same applies in real life. Why the secrecy?

Sanchez and Marco are not in the team pic just taken in Charleston.

When the Daily News ran a story today about 12 Jets players who said Tebow sucked did the reporter name his source? If a source tells me info and I tell everyone who the source is, his spot is blown. He might never get the info again, he wont be trusted, and people might even go to him directly.

So....... again maybe a vague explanation can be given, like he did. But don't expect first name last name etc....

But seriously people aren't going to divulge a source and risk a relationship. As you spend more time on various boards you learn who to trust and who's just blowing smoke. That's just the way it goes.

PS Guru went further than most ever will.
 
Can he at least tell us the company they work for? i.e ESPN, SNY, SJ coach, etc? I want to get excited about them being cleared, but can't until this is solidified!

That usually won't happen but if you read Guru's post he says it's an upstate Maac Coach (not necessarily head coach since he wasn't that explicit). Second rule on message boards, don't get too excited because you have the smoke blowers and then sometimes things just change after valid information is passed along.
 
Just curious how a MAAC coach would be connected with these guys in any way. Seems like a bit of a reach IMO.
 
I would never give up any source.... However I'm sure just like me many of us are plugged into the "scene" and hear many things! I hear he will be cleared along with Marco

Yes because even thought he's likely to be redshirted that can change at any moment we want to if we are pressed into need.
 
Just going by what I was told!! I really hope they get cleared.... We will be a NCAA tourney team witty them

Your mouth to God's ears! I still don't agree with redshirting Gift but I'll just have to give Coach Lavin the benefit of the doubt. I have a lot of trust in him right now.
