Had a night no sleep idgaf how it’s done win tonight. Can be ugly do not care. Need the next 2. Should have friendly pig zebras tonight, since they were shit last night!

Yes.
After all the disappointment lessen I realized we had some highlights

We can play with anyone
Aaron Scott can play and shoot
Could have scored 110 points if we hit some fouls shots
We are fast and the bench can contribute
Richmond has not played at an all American level offensively or defensively and that should improve.
Coaches will get better with the substitutions

We essentially have 6 Big East level starters - the guys who started last night plus Scott who will all play big minutes most games. Dunlap, Vince & Prey will all play decent minutes depending on the situation with Prey's minutes gradually increasing. That is a good 9 man rotation with Glover probably getting some regular short minutes at some point as the season goes on. I'm not worried about our depth but it's already clear who our main core guys will be imho.

My main concern going forward is Richmond. He does some things well but this team was built around him as a focal point. Shooting, we kind of knew about but to me it looks worse than I remember and I thought he was a solid free throw shooter which he is not. I also thought he was a better athlete than this. He is a good passer but for someone who moves at such a slow pace he is very turnover prone.

I think if we are to make tournament, the team has to revolve around Smith, Luis and Zuby with Richmond taking on a secondary type role.

Friday night what else to do. I’ll be watching and on this site with the rest of you dimented bastards

Richmond can take any role, ranging from being the alpha dog to letting others score while he contributes in other ways.

And this is what impresses me most about Richmond (yes, I know, he must be thrilled by my affirmation), he is a factor without having to score. Such a cerebral and unselfish player.

His unselfishness is even more of a stark contrast to a lot of seniors, who are trying to change their game to appease NBA scouts. Richmond, meanwhile is still taking the team first approach.
