AZ State at MGM Grand in Las Vegas on 12/22?

I'm all in. I'll be there. It's a quick, < hour flight from home (Tucson). With the time zone change, the jet lands before it took off (kinda). I went to the PAC-12 Tourney last March. We stayed at the MGM Grand and never left the hotel complex. Nice! Let's have a roll call for a pregame toddy or two. B) The current arena sits 12K or so. They're building a new 20K seat arena across the street at the Monte Carlo Casino. Not sure if that will be ready by Dec 2015.

Do they sell beer in the arena during college games?

My understanding is that it all depends on the location of the venue. If the venue is on a college campus, they are not permitted to sell alcohol per the NCAA. However, if the stadium is not on a college campus, as would be the case with the MGM Grand or MSG, normal stadium practices apply.

I was asking Ruehlj because he wrote he attended a game in Vegas at MGM last season.

Sorry I guess? I was just trying to help you out. If you only wanted his response, perhaps a Private Message would have been more suitable?

I was just pointing out that he had been there before, I didnt mean to come across like that.

Just spent a week in Vegas. Stopped into MGM to check out any possible specials regarding prices for tickets and rooms for our game in December. Told to call after the summer.

Funny, I'm at the MGM right now and didn't even think about it. But I'll be there too.

Just received an offer from MGM which is available for the ASU game. The cheapest room (king size bed) is $112 for a two night stay plus $32.48 each night. Two buffets each day is included in this price. Looks good to me.

Join M Life, the MGM group loyalty program. The lowest rate for 21-23 Dec there is $49 plus the resort fee. No buffets, though.
