Often the families, angents over price themselves. Yes, we have solid NIL $, but some expectations by player camps can be absurd.

Yes hence why they must believe names are coming to the portal over the next remaining days because the inaction on the PG front (besides Lewis) has been deafening. They need at minimum 5 more players on this roster so we know more players are coming.

Even then though, there's only like 5-8 guys that would fit the bill for a big name PG + who's a fit + who can enter the portal.

I don't have the sources others do, the ones with sources sound reassured it'll be totally fine, but its definitely a scary market to be looking for one in. I'm happy by Tuesday, we'll at least know who's a dream vs who's a possibility.

Might want to wait until roster is set before you call Rick a beggar.

Semi-pro does not translate into 3 or 4 million dollars just because you had a good season statistically. There is only ONE ball and the most important thing is "do you share " that ball for the benefit of the team or do you like to dominate it to impress your next over-funded NIL school with your numbers?

I was being facetious about them being college students. None of these young men should be making 4 million dollars too participate on a school team. This is what happens we there are no rules in place. And boosters who get a rub spending their money for sporting glory.
I also know Saint John is benefiting from a wealthy alum. It’s so stupid the amount of money being thrown around. If that money was spent helping people.
It would be a better use of it.
I also do not begrudge the young men getting paid. They are doing what anyone else would do when you market something. Sell to the highest bidder.

These are the teams interested: St. John’s, St. Joseph’s, Temple, Pittsburgh, Youngstown State, UCF, Duquesne, Dayton, New Mexico State, Indiana State, UC Santa Barbara, South Florida, and Western Kentucky.
Seems like we are the only high major interested, if accurate. We need a kid who is also being looked at by the top teams who need guards (Kansas, UNC, Auburn, etc). Feel like our name was thrown in there because we just don’t have a PG and they want to attach us to all available PGs. We need better.

Yes , I think the RJ - Pitino Admiration Society vanished before the end of the Arkansas game .
Both sides , seem happy with the result .

Seems like a few more players have found the exits too .

And , at last look , we still need a starter at PG as well as , a back up .
