Interesting choice of words.
Because you’re living
A young lady of color who I know well went to Duke about 5 years ago. She loved campus life, but commented very negatively about how she was treated,because of her race,when she ventured off campus. Very very sad, but apparently still very very true.
Because you’re living and playing in Arkansas. And you’re not in NYC. Remember what Coach said about NYC: he was never on Fallon, etc. The opportunities here are endless.

You don’t have to live in NYC to get opportunities. As I posted elsewhere players from Chapel Hill and Lexington are on commercials that run nationally.
Sorry for your friend for being treated for her race, but there are areas in NYC and elsewhere, that unfortunately you can be treated the same way.
Unfortunate for the young lady you mention . Wondering if she knew about the off Campus life , before going there .
Regardless , not a good look for Duke or , Durham.
Assume she was a elite level student who could hsve transferred easily to a Notre Dame , Northwestern , Stanford , etc
Where the off campus life might have been more hospitable .
Getting back to BB ,Wagner seems ok with Arkansas and , obviously has loyalty to Cal . Which seemingly goes both ways .

Don't kid yourself. Having lived for long periods of time in all of NY, NJ & NC that kind of stuff happens in all 3 places. As I remember Bruce Springsteen saying many years ago on a 60 Minutes segment "there are a**holes everywhere".

Cal is not even in the same multiverse as Pitino in terms of player development. Wagner is not getting better. That's why people thought he could portal.
Not us I hope.
Does that imply that Bruiser is great at player development since some have implied that his staying or going was tied to the same decision by Bruiser?

I think it merely implies that Philly guys get along with Camden kids.
Bruiser probably would have done better at Drexel if his player development skills were top-notch.

LOL He cares so much for the name on the front of the jersey that he’s leaving them for more $$. We should refuse any contact with someone stupid enough to use that quote as they head into the transfer portal.
He is doing what every kid in semi pro college is doing. Maximizing his earning potential.
I would not hold the comment against him.

Yes, I know he is doing what every other kid is doing and I don’t fault him for that. I just question his intelligence.
This will be the fourth different "name on the front" in four years for this lad. Just sayin'...
The comment is not steeped in credibility yet he is entitled to make it.
