Would really love for some kind of announcement regarding the staff sooner rather than later. With the next live period starting we need more staff just to have a sheer influence in all places. Dont get me wrong I love what Matt and Chris are doing, but a little help can only make it that much better. Hope we get some good news on this front soon.

No offense, you are a great contributor to this board and I appreciate all the info, but you really remind me of my ex-girlfriend. She was someone who just loved to cause drama. I think you both get off on that kind of stuff. She would sit there and be like, "I have a secret to tell you, but I can't tell you yet." And then she would walk around like she had some great power over me.

Like I said, I view you as a valuable member of this site.....but it just seems like you love drama and attention!

I know Paultz personally and he is nothing like that.

He gives all the info you need in the avatars and he gives what info he can without compromising where he is getting his info from

You dont have to be a rocket scientist to put together the clues of his avatars

Your avatar leads me to believe that RICO hines will be retained on the staff lol

Saying "no offense" doesn't give you the right to say something offensive to one of the more respected members of the board. He has to keep things as proprietary as possible... he doesn't owe any of us the info he is privy to...

Would any of us be surprised if we have a players "dream team" over the next five years and a final four appearance over that span?

Please don't insult one of our most valuable posters. He understandably can't reveal all of what he's privy to, but the way he compiles info about our team and recruits from twitter and sites and posts it here is amazing.

Well said MJ! Paultz is "good people". Easiest way to ensure that you don't get info in the future is to open your mouth when you're not supposed to.

These are exciting times for SJU fans. However, it does seem like Déjà vu. Reminds me the year Lavin signed: Pointer, Green, Harrison, Garret, Sampson, Harkless and Pelle. Back then, it seemed like every time you went to the sites, SJU had signed another guy. Maybe, this is one of the benefits of the unbalanced roster? Every four years, we have a new coach with an open roster, optimism and excitement fills the air. Then, with few scholarships to offer, the buzz disappears, unless you’re winning NCAA games, and the cycle repeats. Do I hear “youngest team in America”? Hopefully, Chris can put together some tournament wins and we can become a basketball destination, again.

I too have had the pleasure of meeting Paultz and speaking with him and he is so far from what you describe him as. He's a good guy and shares information when he can.

Ex-SJU Coach Lavin left the roster in complete shambles by taking off from the recruiting circuit for the past few years but the staff has done a great job in 1.5 weeks time giving us hope for next year.

A lot still hinges on Rysheed's decision and Brandon Sampson, but i dont think there will be an unbalanced roster in the future because the staff will "work their tails off" unlike the previous regime which was led by ex-SJU Coach Lavin who talked a great game but was an excuse making machine and would rather be at the trendy new restaurant in Tribeca rather than Mount Vernon or CTK to watch a HS BBall game.

We are very lucky with what the staff has been able to do in such little time but we have to realize that this unbalanced roster is Ex SJU Coach Lavin's doing and really nothing Coach Mullin had any control over coming in here.

The thing is he is working on balancing the roster. Next year we will have a senior in Obekpa, hopefully a junior in Jordan and an experienced JUCO with more experience possibly on its way. Next year we already have a transfer sitting out, a more experienced Amar and maybe ADR if he is still around.
