Around the Big East

Wonder if this kids skill translate up two levels? I recall someone from there transferring up last year and it not working well -- to Rutgers maybe?
Sub 6 foot guard who shoots 15 shots inside the arc, on the surface I’d say it will be a tough transition.

Yeah if you have arguably the worst team/roster of any Power conference this past year and you were looking to seriously upgrade your roster I am not sure a volume scorer from a decent MAAC team is going to do it.

SHU needs some dudes and a lot of them to get back in the mix in the Big East.

I did hear they are in good shape with a once promising high level recruit who went to Bama but slid down a lot of rankings and then redshirted at Bama this year as he was just not physically ready, Naas Cunningham.

Sounds like SHU is going to take a flier on him hoping maybe he pans out.

They are losing Middleton though it seems. That one surprised. Middleton was basically Cunningham as a freshman except Middleton actually played some for Ohio State, whereas Cunningham did not. On paper, I think I'd much rather have a junior Middleton than a redshirt freshman in Cunningham.

At one point that kid was ranked #1 in his class but slid down to 40th.

Jordan Derdack. He started a few games at Rutgers and was a rotation guy. I met his uncle while up in Providence for the NCAAs and his nephew is supposedly transferring again.
