Around the Big East

Peavy over Kadary is absurd but I get it they didn’t want the Johnnies to dominate the first team :)
That was the reason. And Kalk being on the first team probably kept off Ashworth too, who has a case over Peavy IMO. No knock on Peavy's because he's a really good all around player.

They usually don't like to put 3 guys on the first team (I'm not saying it's never happened, but even Uconn last year, an absolute juggernaut, only had 2 first teamers).

An absolute joke Kadary not making it.

First of all, I agree with you 100% But do you and the other posters think that the Big East, in its lunacy, didn't want to monopolize the All First Big East Team with St. John's players in order to use this snub to open up the door for Kadary being named Player of the Year? If the morons who vote for post season awards can't see that Kadary was the engine who drove the St. John's train to its overwhelming body slam of the rest of the Big East teams, they should resign.

It was a very interesting feature. Highlight was they had about 20 seconds of him reviewing game film against St. John’s and just looking disappointed all over again, lol.

He honestly seems like someone who, while a good guy, still has a lot of maturing and demons to tackle. Seems like someone who may never be happy coaching

Why would anyone tolerate his maniacal behavior? I don’t see why anyone played for Calhoun either. It’s mind boggling.
There are two things here: First, we all know that everything is acceptable when you are winning. If the winning stops, then the behavior issues become a problem.

Second, Hurley is a very good coach obviously. He is 50, but the way he acts, he will self immolate and not coach to 60.

Zuby Most improved player award. Congrats Zuby!

I think this bodes well for RJ…

They had to give Kalk something…
Dixon is on too bad of a team
Kam got swept twice by RJ
