In order of if I could have them take over for Rick tomorrow for 4 years..

A.
Mcdermott
Hurley

B.
Willard
Shaheen
Shaka
Pitino Jr
Cooley

C.
Holtman
Thad
English
Would reverse the order of McDermott and Hurley. A colorful personality goes a long way to helping your product stand out in the crowded NYC market. Pitino obviously has this quality and so does Hurley. McDermott, not so much. (He’s too nice!)

I’m not afraid to admit I’d love if Hurley was our coach. But I think he’s slightly overrated (as overrated as someone can be for winning back to back titles, but still a little overrated). He had underachieved prior to that. Give him and McDermott each the same team and I know who I’d choose.

I know people like Sha, but objectively I don't see how he fits with that second grouping based on the resume.

These are tricky, because on resume Matta should be above McDermott. Just my opinion on them currently - moving forward. Dont think it’s unreasonable to put Shaheen on this last group.

If he were, there would have been speculation (even if unfounded) re: Nova job. Good coach but at this point he is the NFL equivalent of a high end defensive coordinator

Reed always impressed me, never quite understood why Johnson would always play over him this year.
Was hoping he'd portal, because if you were ever going to move Zuby to PF, a guy like him would have been perfect to man the middle.

I am definitely not a fan of moving Zuby to power forward. IMHO, it would negate much of what makes him so effective at the college level.
I agree but I think we can find ways to get bigger while keeping him at the 5. Someone in the Brazile on Arkansas mold next to him at the 4 could look good.

Obviously a lousy performance by the BE in this years tournament. Hopefully better performances are on the horizon starting next season.

I'm sure no one cares, but Butler and Utah are in a one point game late, to open the Crown.

Georgetown plays Washington State later tonight (11pm eastern).

2 Big East teams in this tomorrow, as well. DePaul vs. Cincinnati, and Villanova vs. Colorado.
