Around the Big East

We’re still getting 4 teams in, but yes very mediocre after the top 4.
Ideally you want 5+. I think looking at percentages is the best way to rate a conference.

Just to use ESPN's bracketology:
Big East with four teams gets you at 36%
SEC with 13 gets them at 81%
Big Ten, 10, 55%
Big 12, 8, 50%
ACC, 4, 22%
Mountain West, 3, 18%

The seeding will also be an issue because, as you said, the middle of the BE is so mediocre. It should frustrate everyone that @Prov is a Q2 win, @SHU is Q3, @Gtown Q2, Prov at home Q3. I can easily imagine the winner of the Big East being a four seed, which is the case right now.

Depends who wins. If we win the Big East we’re a 2-3.

No way we are a 4 seed.

While I would love to get as many teams in as possible, a great gauge for me is how the Big East teams selected perform relative to the rest of the field.

Last season, the conference flourished, and the powers that be loathed every moment of it.

The Big East had 10 wins, and the best winning percentage of all conferences. This was in spite of a paltry three teams getting in last season, two of which made the elite eight, and UCONN won it all.

Look at how pathetic the SEC, SEC, SEC performed.

Get a load of the MWC.

Total crock of ship that more teams weren't selected, but that is the past...

Yes, lets compare shaka smart to a coach that has won 2 nattys.
Yes let’s talk about the fact that you claim losing three games in a row proves you’re not a great coach. Just saying by that logic that you stated, Hurley is not a great coach despite the Nattys.
