Around the Big East

UConn has a lot of pieces, but Hurley knows PG is so key and Diarra is good, but good enough to orchestrate?

It was pretty evident from their Maui games (even the cupcakes) - that they were missing Newton. An incredibly efficient PG.

Diarra was a Great Sub the past two years, but seems to have gotten exposed a bit taking the Leading role. Mahaney seems more of a fit coming in off the bench.

If UConn figures their PG sitch out... they'll be fine

DePaul and Providence are only two teams favored.

That’s right, Dayton has -1.5 over Marquette today.

Would be nice for Big East to have another big weekend. Also hope staff sees this weekend as a missed opportunity and appropriately shifts for next year.

GWOW!.... dayton favored... damn... in translation- Public will be all over Top 10 ranked Marq... meaning... Dayton will most likely win... ughh...

right Eric? lol

We should be playing Gonzaga tonight at MSG , not UCONN.

Until our schedule makers get some meaningful OOC games on our Schedule , we will remain totally reliant on our BE Record ,
It’s not good , like last year when G ‘town , DePaul essentially gave 4 wins to the top league finishers.
Kansas at MSG would mean twice as much to us as Kansas State at CA.
Just saying , we need to schedule and beat some of these big 5 Schools in BB
Wining 1 of the 2 games against Baylor and Georgia would have given us that quality Win

Depaul getting into foul trouble that is going to cost them down the stretch. Gunn is a legit scorer for them; transfer from Indiana
