Around the Big East

UConn will have their hands full with the loser of Dayton/Iowa State. 3 L’s in Maui would be crazy. Scheduling 4 CMA cupcakes to start the season backfired.
seriously... 4 games before Maui... gotta make one of them against a top 150 team...

Watching both games... both very easily could have been UConn Ws...

They have a great stretch coming up vs Baylor/Texas/Zaga... will be rooting hard for them to give the BE some credibility

His father could be a lunatic with the best of them, saw it live and in person many a time. Not only to refs but to his own players at times. Very tough, very demanding, no nonsense guy from the jump. And you guys acting like no other coaches ever act or acted like crazies on the sidelines is kind of comical. Yes, Hurley is way over the top at times, no question, but he is far from being alone.
And frankly, I may have done the same or worse, second pretty obvious and wide open over the back ignored by the refs is what precipitated the assistant doing part of his job, protecting the head man from himself.
And to continue the UConn theme, I would love to have a dollar for every time Chris Dailey or Jamelle Elliott have done similar for Geno Auriemma.
I spent 20+ years in Connecticut watching Auriemma coach. There's not a bigger aHole on the planet. Hurley won't live long enough to match him

Yup. When they shore up the D and learn how to play together, watch out. The talent hurley has this year is crazy.

That was people who truly don't know hoop. They had 4 players drafted last year. Only a FOOL (there were loads of them) mentioned 3 peat.

Agree but not exclusively for the reasons you stated. Three-peats are few and far between and the thought of such should be seen to be as farfetched as it is. But the media has to talk about it as if it's int he realm of possibility. Attracts viewers.

In fact who would have thought after losing their 3 most important players from the 2023 championship team (2 to the draft and an all BE first teamer that wasn't selected) that they would have a chance to repeat? That said they are a blueblood and will always be in the conversation, whether they deserve to be or not.
