Around the Big East

Rumor going around is his back has been hurting for some time. He played through it but maxed out vs Creighton. Staff was concerned going into the season about his injuries. Tried to bring in a very good backup PG which kadary nixed. Frustrated, the staff expected him to load manage so to speak in practice but then kadary pulled the plug 2 games ago. They expect him to return shortly but nothing guaranteed that it won’t act up again. I don’t believe it to be NIL related but there’s some frustration over there on both sides

I seem to recall Posh visiting and all signs pointing toward him coming and then it got nixed.

Kadary is having an “all league” season and Seton Hall was contending for a league title until he went out. I would think it would be in his interest (both short term and long term) to play through the injury if it didn’t risk further complications. But what do I know

Strange to me though that Kadary didn’t travel with the team and that Holloway is not just saying he has a back injury. Clearly Holloway’s statements are adding to the intrigue.

This halftime score could equal the blowout in Mullins first game vs Ewing and Georgetown in ‘81-82. That’s where Carnesecca’s famous quote to the team at halftime came from…”well boys, our asses are in Macy’s windows”. Ewing was unstoppable for our “Twin Towers” and our guys laid a collective egg that game!
Looks like this halftime score will be worse…

Here’s where gambling will drive you nuts in this game. 3:28 left in first half. 47 points scored between both teams (mostly UConn lol). From 328 left to a little over a minute left. Both teams (Xavier woke up) score on 9 straight possessions. 23 points in just over 2 minutes to make the over under for the first half go over the total. I was pissed I missed the initial under for the half and almost live bet it at 66.5.

That was almost what could be called a lock under with 3 min left. Man.
