Around the Big East

Georgetown in a big struggle with Jackson state who has played a pretty tough schedule including beating Missouri last game. They are 1-5.
By mid- season their name will be changed to George- Down
, and they'll be screaming for Patrick and Patrick will be
smiling and enjoying life without coachitis.

taled about them last night…similar situation as SJ (and probably worse)…they need a home run hire (actually a grand slam).
Reminds me of the time when the terrible Mets traded for
a great catcher/player named Carter. Sure, Tom Terrific, Koosman et al helped a lot.

We made some other good deals but Carter was our ,"Grand Slam" that triggered things.
Fun Times !

Posh’s off-year last season was due entirely to the toxicity of Curbelo, and the inability of CMA to absorb it or rein it in. Posh tried to accommodate and be the solution, and he paid the price. I hope and expect he’ll have a great year for Butler. He’s one of the great warriors ever to play for us….
He was ,"Blood, Guts and Tears."
So unfortunate that our coach could misjudge Curbelo -vs- Posh.

It was so evident to so many of us and how Posh would swallow it up,
for the team.
Good luck Posh and have great but losing games against us.

Clingan with 29 points in 21 minutes last night including 12-13 from the field.
I find him very overrated but just my opinion. As for last night, vast majority of NH front court minutes was two 6’6’‘ players, one 6’8”” and and one 6’4”which means he had at least a 6 inch height advantage all night.

I think he is still finding his way back from the foot injury but agree he needs some more development and has to stay on the floor for longer stretches. The upside is there.
