One team small town but still
What about the end of bench kids that leave? So top two freshmen leave early and bottom 2 leave for playing time and you are out 4 scholarships for the next 4 years?I’d like to see a rule where if you recruit a student that leaves school after 1 year, you lose a scholarship for the next 3 years. That would stop schools from stockpiling so many top rated kids.
If they transfer to another program, that’s ok.What about the end of bench kids that leave? So top two freshmen leave early and bottom 2 leave for playing time and you are out 4 scholarships for the next 4 years?
I like the effort and what you wish would happen. I’d like it too if kids stayed longer, but that would be the end of the ncaa and the big schools would just get up and leave. If they transfer to another program, that’s ok.
I think he’s referring to one and done players? What about the end of bench kids that leave? So top two freshmen leave early and bottom 2 leave for playing time and you are out 4 scholarships for the next 4 years?
Creating rules to stop schools from stockpiling talent seems pretty silly though.I think he’s referring to one and done players?
Not saying I agree with it. Just trying to clarify what he was sayingCreating rules to stop schools from stockpiling talent seems pretty silly though.
Nope, they were just about sold out last season. And it's all for a one game opportunity when Georgetown visits!!!
It's crap like that that reinforces in the Pukon fans minds that they are NY's team. The only thing I can think of as to why the Mets would do that is because they both share the SNY network; the Mets for many of their games and Pukon for specials and updates on their basketball teams. It's bad enough we have to put up with their crap at the Garden, but in our own backyard too? Further reason, not that any more is needed, as to why I hate Pukon.I'm at the Mets game and they honored UConn's national championship and had Andre Jackson Jr throw out the first pitch lol. NY's team???
Actually SNY gives very significant coverage to UConn’s WBB program, way more than just updates. They televise all games not picked upon national TV, pre and post games shows for all games regardless whether are televising or not, and Auriemma has a weekly in-season show I believe. It's crap like that that reinforces in the Pukon fans minds that they are NY's team.
