Depends on the team / agenda - imho... I wouldn't put anything past any anyone in collegiate sports.

One alleged reason FSU didn't make the CFB playoffs two years ago, was because their QB, Jordan Travis, got hurt. The argument / rationale (according to some) was FSU wouldn't be as competitive is he was not in the lineup. Whilst that was most definitely true, FSU was undefeated, and as much as I hate to say it, they deserved to be in the playoffs.

I know this is an apples and oranges comparison (football vs. basketball), but the situations are similar in so far as Duke will not be as tough with Flagg out (the same way FSU wasn't).

I'm interested in seeing how this plays out.

Oh man. I couldn’t agree more. The ACC blue blood spin machine was working overtime on the broadcast the other day. The old look they beat Wake they should be a “lock”. Bullshit. Then they get the gift of a lifetime with the best player in the country down plus another starter for Duke. Yet they still lose for the 3rd time vs Duke. On top of that they were 1-12 in Q1. They get in I never want to hear about the Quad nonsense ever again.

I’d say not the type of physically built team you’d usually see as a 15 or so.
