Around College Basketball

Seems headed to no limitations on transfers. Dodge City basketball

That’s at least for this year but I do think it’s inevitable that the NCAA implements some version of that new tier that has different transfer rules.

People can probably tell I’m much more pro-player in professional sports and college sports, but I actually think unlimited transfers does hurt the game. Yes, I root for my alma mater/third generation Johnnie/grew up watching, but I also want to feel a connection with a player more than just one year.

Hopefully there’s a middle ground that does give empowerment, financial reward, dignity to players but also roster stability that all sorts need to build connections with fans

Perhaps. I was thinking more that being home means you have lots of hands and support around you compared to being several thousand miles from home. Speculation on my part, but from past experience having family around with little ones was a big factor for me.
I agree with the support angle just playing devils advocate on the possibility that the mother is not from there and if not, didn’t follow him there.

So much for the rumor Howard might not coach Michigan again.

This is why I rarely text once a game starts.
SJU85, Purdue up big on Arizona. Looks like after today James Madison will be one of three last undefeated teams along with Houston & Oklahoma (Porter Moser). Doesn't one of your kids go to Madison?

Yes. It’s been a lot of excitement fall sports wise for the school between football, Men’s soccer and Men’s basketball.

Watching a replay of yesterday's game between Michigan St and undefeated Baylor. State lead 45-17 at the half on their way to a 24 point win. This is going to be a very interesting season!!!

Seton hall looking very good against Missouri. Didn’t see that one coming.
Mizzou got beaten handily by Memphis and lost to Jackson State. Appear to be a team that will be near the bottom of their league imho.
