Around College Basketball 25-26

I'd be a little nervous if a 40 game regular season + expanded tournament water downs the product. Games just won't matter nearly as much.

But I do think with legitimate in-season tournaments with NIL prizes, historic rivalries revived, etc., you can figure that out.

Alabama playing the Fashion Institute of Technology week 4 in football doesn't seem to slow them down any.
 
There are a lot of factors that cut against the NBA. The salaries are so crazy compared to to other sports, and that it creates a lot of resentment with the load management.

The NBA playoffs are way too long and drawn out. The whole thing is exhausting. Two days between games when they switch venues? They’ve created an environment where nothing happens worth watching before the playoffs.

And with the level of skill, the regular season games aren't worth watching until the second half.
