Fired after nine months because he couldn't land Omoryui?[/quote]

I think that is Burno.

Assuming no issues with Davis I wouldn't mind seeing Coach find room for him on staff. Administrative role for now.

Davis was definitely the Cliff O connection and rumored reason why ASU hired him.

What does everyone think the odds of actually playing are? Keep in mind college basketball starts just when a lot of experts think we'll see another wave (flu season).

I feel we might try to play but then it gets cancelled after a few games once some players get corona and schools start ending their seasons. It'll be similar to what we saw in March, though not quite as quick and with far more resistance.

Correct I had it backwards between Rashon and Rasheen.

Almost wonder if they should consider starting the season earlier and ending earlier. Logistical nightmare for sure, but college universities are looking to start their school year earlier to avoid some of that second wave.

I think it's a bit silly to assume there will be a 2nd wave when experts have been so wrong about so much already. We need to move on with safeguards.

Are you suggesting we throw caution to the wind?

I keep thinking the same thing every day: "There's no way Mike Zaun will continue to post dumb stuff when he's been wrong about so much already."

Then I log in, and *boom goes the dynamite*...:pinch:

Seems that way, but why would you need safeguards if there's no 2nd wave to worry about?

The people saying it will come back in a big way in the fall are the same people who said a few months ago that masks don't do anything and now it's mandated. There was flatten the curve and then there was we need a vaccine/cure. The hospitals have plenty of room now. But everything basically still shut down. Those who have it are not contagious beyond 11 days a new report shows. Original estimates of 2 million dead and now 100k (still awful) as it dies out. New reports show it's not even really a threat to transfer on surfaces after we were told the exact opposite. President saying he hopes it will die out in warm weather, gets killed for it and now it might actually be true at least in part. And you really think we should take a second coming in the fall as fact? I think we should reopen everything with safeguards in place. It's possible. Calculated risks happen every day. This can be calculated.

Did you really believe that all of the clowns you saw getting out of the car were actually in the VW?

Every thread turns to Covid eventually

My favorite part was how he went from saying the experts don't know anything, to saying this can be done with "calculated risk".

If they were so wrong in their calculations at the start, why would you want them calculating anything now?

Well initially masks were being worn by people who were trying to prevent themselves from getting it. That was never the intended purpose of wearing the masks. The masks are to prevent from spreading it to others.

I just saw Moussa Cisse was reclassifying to 2020. That could be old news but figured it could move the discussion back to basketball. Cisse played at CTK for a couple of seasons. He is almost 7’0 with long arms and an incredible athlete. He is still a little rough on the offensive side but is an incredible shot blocker. I remember standing behind him and Kofi Cockburn before a game and boy did I feel small at 6’2 220. Makes me wonder how short people feel. J/K

P.S - looks like he will be attending one of the pay before you play schools but I figure those schools are paying a little less in this environment.
