Amir Garrett

Thanks for post, picture and Amir’s mature comments.
In these times whatever one says can be misconstrued as racist.
But I’m
Pleased that it is possible to say Black Lives Matter AND All Lives Matter. These are not mutually exclusive.
AND some police people abuse their authority but most are decent citizens like most of us are.
Blessings to all Americans no matter their size, shape or color and thanks again for this post and pictures!

All the best Amir - the Storm nation is proud of you.

Our old Friend Amir has been dominate this spring (see below). It is great to hear positive things about his baseball career and life. I always found him an easy guy to root for. I hope he has nothing but Great health and joy from his new daughter.

From Yahoo Sports:Nobody can hit https://www.yahoo.com/mlb/players/10171/]Amir Garrett this springFour innings, no hits, no runs, no walks, 10 Ks. He has literally been un-hittable this spring. Garrett sounds plenty motivated …

Amir seems to have quite a temper playing Major League Baseball that I don't recall him having while playing basketball for St. John's.

I think he's mad because he isn't even the 3rd option to close on the stinking Royals. He thought he'd be a closer in the show...

Amir having trouble finding the plate. While he's only given up 3 hits in 12 1/3 innings, he's walked 10!

Garrett gets a mention in this article.

"Throughout baseball, the cult of fragrances has spread beyond players from Latin America. With the Cincinnati Reds, relief pitcher Amir Garrett, who is from Las Vegas, said he watched teammates Raisel Iglesias, Peralta and Suárez apply cologne before games. So Garrett, 30, started raiding Suárez’s stash with permission and has continued the cologne practice now with the Royals."

OMG--hard to believe he is 30 years old

Damn, Amir is going to be 32.
I remember him and Norvelle Pelle on their official visit during a preseason game at CA.
