Hopefully scouts were more observant of his play than BE coaches.
 
Why are coaches even in charge of voting for this type of award? Do we really expect them to watch all of the games?

Well considering they should be scouting, I would say yes.

Dom Pointer is 10th in the Big East in scoring (13.7), 4th in rebounds (7.6), 3rd in blocks (2.48) and 3rd in steals (1.97). Unbelievable.

If there's a scrappy white guard in your league with even remotely decent numbers, coaches will find a way to vote him to the first team.
 
In the end, does it really matter? Sure, it would be nice to be recognized.....but there is no benefit to be named to the all league team, so whats the difference?

It's about being recognized for hard work and progress. It feels good and when you deserve something like Dom does it is a bit of a head scratcher to not get it. Dom struggled mightily last year and has come all this way but won't be able to say he was a first team all big east player and to me that is sad. He was so deserving.

Another thing is you take arch off that nova team they still dance with ease. Without Dom we are nothing this year. Nothing

Arch is a the Pg on the first place team that is 28-2. I don't have a problem with him. The kid on Butler I don't know much about but that is more questionable.

IMO Dom should have gotten on over Harrison. I love Harrison but he hasn't been himself the past month.

It doesn't matter. It's about the best players and who produced the most. If it was about who has the best record the whole nova starting lineup would be the all big east team. Dom deserved it more than arch, Dunham, and Harrison.
