@KevinMcNamara33: PC's Henton and Dunn are unanimous All-Big East picks @BigEastMBB @PCAthleticshttp://t.co/E59IQ3NT0X via @projo

Dom making second team doesn't make much sense to me. Oh well.

Harrison got it over Pointer because of his four year play.

Archidiacano first team over Dom??? Wtf??

That's actually funny because he probably made first team because of Lavin's voting. He said in his press conference this week that he should be POY.

There is always a lot of BS in these awards - from CYO to the pros. It's the just the way it goes.

@NYPost_Brazille: Would love to know what the Big East coaches were watching who didn't pick Pointer for first team. Kid has done it all this year. #sjubb

I think we give Basketball coaches way to much credit. I think most are pretty dumb. Need evidence see Pointer on 2nd team of all BE.

NY Post story

Who would win this matchup?

First team, D’Angelo Harrison, Providence duo Kris Dunn and LaDontae Henton, Butler guard Kellen Dunham, Georgetown guard D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera and Villanova guards Darrun Hilliard III and Ryan Arcidiacono. Hilliard, Dunn and Henton were unanimous selections.

The second team was made up of Pointer, Seton Hall guard Sterling Gibbs, Butler forward Roosevelt Jones, Marquette guard Matt Carlino and Xavier big man Matt Stainbrook.

Adam Zagoria @AdamZagoria ·
Dom Pointer is 10th in the Big East in scoring (13.7), 4th in rebounds (7.6), 3rd in blocks (2.48) and 3rd in steals (1.97). Unbelievable.

Adam Zagoria @AdamZagoria ·
Once again, it is a COMPLETE JOKE that Sir'Dominic Pointer is not on the All-Big East First Team. Bad job, coaches.

Howie Kussoy @HowieKussoy ·
BTW, absolutely travesty that Sir'Dominic Pointer was left off the Big East First Team. Apparently, no one cares about defense.

Zach Braziller @NYPost_Brazille
Sir'Dominic Pointer deserves to be one of top three guys on first team, let alone on second team. Robbery. #sjubb

Zach Braziller @NYPost_Brazille
I'm sure this will be plenty of ammunition for Steve Lavin, Pointer and #sjubb this week in Big East Tournament.

Give me that second team anyday. That is one hell of a tough hard nosed team.

Post deserves more than a thank-you, great point!

@AdamZagoria: Anyone who thinks Dom Pointer is a 2nd-Teamer just hasn't watched enough Big East basketball this season. Joke.
