Harkless will not get meaningful minutes for any NBA team next season. He does not have remotely enough game for the NBA right now and that is not meant to knock the kid. I remember being ridiculed on the board by some for saying the same thing about Cook. Having said that, he has the potential to be a fine NBA player someday if he goes to a team willing to work with him and wait for him; if he decides to go, good luck to him, he gave SJU a great year. One thing to remember, many players in the NBA look at rookies as competition and offer nothing in terms of helping their development; everyone ignores his passive personality which is something that could get him eaten up in the league. Again, if he goes nothing but the best and I will certainly be rooting for him to succeed.

First rounders get plenty of minutes. If he goes this year it will be to a decent team where he might have to wait. If he waits to become a lottery pick he'll play a lot more for a lousier team. Remember Oklahoma City prior to Durant and San Diego prior to Griffin? Then again it might be the Nets who get him and wouldn't that be something? I don't pretend to know what he's thinking but I'm pretty darn sure he doesn't want to spend another season playing the 5. I sure hope Lavin has shared some good news with him because that could be a major factor unless his mind is already made up.

Players get minutes in the league because they earn them, not because they are first rounders; too many first rounders to mention have seen little or no playing time in the NBA. As always, I admire your ability to not let facts get in the way of your opinion and to be able decipher other people's decision processes and motivations with absolutely no information is truly a unique skill.

So you're saying that Moe's going to ride the bench in the NBA. I say that's stupid based on what I've seen of him. Your statement has much less basis in fact than mine and you will be proven wrong as always as things unfold. I'll be there to remind you accordingly when the time comes.
