Part of the reason to the change is Pitinos relationship with the brand. Besides Louisville being Team Adidas’s Pitino was on their roster for over 10yrs.

And I am sure the school is getting a boatload of money from Adidas.

The Adidas news was not...and is not...officially announced. From what I saw Zagoria published a story (early potentially without approval or ok) and then Zach and others went to sources to confirm.

But nothing is official so you won't see anything from Adidas or the school until then.

I was at the school store a few months back and one of the ladies told me that they were getting rid of all Nike stock for Adidas. I’m actually surprised Repole didn’t try to have No Bull as the team brand..

Does Zach get a bad rap here? Yes and he doesn't deserve it. But he's definitely a day late and dollar short here. There was plenty of smoke for a long time. You're connected to the program. You heard it. Two biggest transfers are adi NIL guys. He's broke plenty of other stories prematurely.

Nike having some financial issues. For the year ended 5/31, revenues down 10% and 4th quarter revenues down 12%. Meanwhile Adidas has turned around its financial picture from loss to profit (23 versus 24) and have cleared the "Ye" issues. Don't know if this played into negotiations and amounts each of the manufacturers was willing to pony up?
