Just received this info from 2 sources involved with the university. I hope that this is true. Did not ask if he's fired or resigning.

Let's hope these sources are right
 
If true, this would be the perfect position for Chris Mullin. It would allow him to be the FACE of the whole Athletic Dept. He would also be around to help with recruiting. He is very articulate and well spoken. The whole St Johns community respects him. Not sure it will happen, but would love to see it.

They should have made Lavin the AD.

I truly hope we get a REAL AD. Been needing one for years and years now.
 
Wow! Some body is moving quickly. Never saw such a lifeless human being at the games. Usually takes years before a move is made. I'm beginning to like this new president.

Based on the credulity/credibility of all these so-called "sources," it's safe to say little -- if nothing, at all -- we've been reading about Monasch or Lavin has been genuinely confirmed.
 
In related news, Gene Keady to be promoted to the position of AD. President Gempesaw said, "If he's getting paid, he may as well be put to work."
