lol. you are in our sectionI got 2 tickets in section 114 for tonight on stubhub for less than$50 total (including all taxes and fees)
Can't do much better than that
I actually like the Sunday 7pm games, and prefer them to 11am, 12pm or 1pm games(this won't kill my entire day). Ideally I would prefer Saturday 7 or 8pm at MSG, but I understand the scheduling challenges. These games give me an opportunity to sleep in and go to dinner or happy hour before tip-off. If your really concerned about getting home late - Drive IN! Traffic shouldn't be that bad going in, and will be non-existent on the way back.
I have been thinking that SJU should sell a limited amount of tix on Stub Hub to each game they are not selling well (I know the Mets and Islanders do this). They could offer the tix at a lower price to where it actually creates demand, and puts buts in seats. Most us us have season tix or at least a package where prices are reasonable. But $65 for a lot of casual fans is too much for one game. If they could sell some tix at like $20 or $25 on Stub Hub I think a lot more people would go. They would not even have to disclose who's selling the tix it(the Mets and Isles don't). Its worth a shot.
They are all over Groupon
I've only seen them sporadically on Groupon for MSG this year was still $37 a tix. That is a good start but, groupon offers can expire well in advance of the event (we aren't offering any deals now). I think Stub Hub would be another good outlet especially for the guys who don't decide to go till the last 48 hours.

I think it would be nice if SJU offered season ticket holders a discount to bring additional family or friends within 72 hours of gametime. maybe a 50% discount. At least then we wouldn't feel screwed when others who aren't season ticket holder end up in better seats for less money than we paid.
