Who thought it would be a smart idea to schedule these huge games on Sunday nights? Am i the only one who thinks it's a little ridiculous. No students will show. Sorry if this has been brought up already.

It has. Lots of factors. (TV, Knicks, Rangers, Dog Show, Other schools and their schedule) Making schedules is not easy by any means.

I'm not a student but I agree it's an odd time but Tv had to make the call. From what I hear from the school , you are correct ,ticket sales are very low for the game.

Wait until the 9pm Butler Tuesday night game for really sparse crowd.

I don't get it. Those factors have always been around, but we've never had 7:00 PM Sunday night games until now. There must be a reason why Fox wanted these games at this time.

9 pm is like my bedtime. Well not really. Well, yes, kind of. If I'm not mistaken my train is like 10:40 or something and then an hour later. This better be a blowout or triple overtime. I'm not waiting around 45 minutes for my train.

Primarily TV. New network. We might have been able to play a game at 3pm if wanted on Sunday if in the past ESPN already had something on and just threw the game on MSG or YES or SNY as a sub licensed ESPN plus game. Since Fox is all Big East all the time its different.

It's a great time to watch a game on TV. It starts after you are done with the days activities and ends before bedtime. If you go to the game you probably get home at 11.

Fox is in 100 percent control of the schedule this year because the league office was not up and running. That is the reason why there are a lot of weird times this year. It is February 2014 and they still do not have a full staff in the big east office. Next year schools/big east will have more say on when to schedule games. I would still think Fox has the ultimate answer but I am sure SJU will tell fox that we will not draw for a sunday on a regualar week or on a Tuesday 9pm versus a low level team.

Georgetown is a holiday weekend so different story.

Bucknast.

I find it hard to believe that a 7 pm start on a Sunday is too late for college students. For the geezers, maybe.

In general, our student fan base is apathetic no matter what the tip off time.

Agreed! Our fan base doesn't need an excuse to not show up at the games. Don't want to know how bad it'll be when they actually have an excuse.

Not necessarily. Depends on where you live and commuter train schedules. And on a Sunday night, the trains are not running all that frequently. But I'll still be there, even though it means I'll probably get home at about midnight.

Awesome offer Eddy. I'll be in section 108, row 16, two seats off the aisle (something like 5&6) Moose is right there also and a couple of other guys. Say hello if you are close.

Anyone in LA on Sunday afternoon? I am heading over to Barney's Beanery in West Hollywood to watch the game. SJU's LA Alumni chapter is hosting a viewing party.

We are very close. I'm in 108 also, row 12, seats 5 and 6. My wife usually comes with me, but I'm not sure if she'll come to any of the 7:00 PM games.

This is a new section for me. I'm liking it more and more. Except for Moose some of our best posters are there. Whoa, let me rephrase that, Moose is there and is a pain sometime.. Just kidding - it's nice to have him in front of me at the Garden.

I like this section. Second year in a row I've had it. Lots of passionate SJU fans around me.
