The two of them are perfect for each other. I can't think of two people who use so many words to say nothing. They can have a 15min conversation without actually saying anything.

Big difference...Francessa is a jerk...Lavin is not...Both may be verbose, but Lavin is infinitely more eloquent...Francessa will repeat the same phrases 5 times before he hits the question mark

The GM of The Sacramento Kings, a St. John's grad, was in the row behind me.

St. John's great Bob McIntyre was at MSG as was Carmine Calzonetti.

Marv Albert also took in the victory.

it would be really nice if there was a bus from the Queens campus to the SHU game. My biggest headache is driving home at 1130 once I get to my car.

I know they've dominated us at their house for a number of years (sadly, had witnessed a number of them), but since 1998 ... wow!

Bottom line: They always give us a tough time, and I hope our guys are up to it and not looking past the Hall ... like a lot of our fans seem to be.

I know they've dominated us at their house for a number of years (sadly, had witnessed a number of them), but since 1998 ... wow!

Bottom line: They always give us a tough time, and I hope our guys are up to it and not looking past the Hall ... like a lot of our fans seem to be.

Thursday will change that. I am confident, this bunch knows that the Creighton win doesn't change the fact they are on the outside looking in. Win this, and get ready for the Georgetown game.

Fun Fact: no one on our team has ever beaten the hoyas, and our oldest guys (Harrison, Pointer, Greene) have played them five times in their career and lost all of them. Another note, none of them have been close either, every one has been by double digits.
