2nd Seton Hall game

@SHUAthletics: No student buses to the Pru tonight. Student season ticket holders, this game won't count towards the "perfect attendance" refund promotion.

Every game we play scares me. I really hope we can get this one, even the record and get ready for a Georgetown game that hopefully will draw a nice crowd.

The dedication the kids talk about and show on D makes me feel better going into games. I love the talk about making stops. Good luck and good job to those going. I hope the guys show you they play the best D in the league.

SJu should have this.

In fact if we had it for classes I would think GPA's would be higher.

I will be there with 2 others. Be at brick city bar and grill around 730

I may get there a bit before you, keep an eye out for a table of SJU fans, maybe we can all hang in the same spot. I'm thinking it won't be that crowded since top off is at 9:00

You guys are killing me. I wanted to hit Dinosaur BBQ in Newark but I may stop through Brick City.

The wings at Dinosaur BBQ are the best. They don't fry them, they smoke them and then they grill them. I work two blocks away from The Rock. My office was closed today though so I'm not in work. Otherwise I would go. Brick City is good also. Let's hope for a big win tonight!!!

i think we crush the hall tonight. there's no reason we shouldn't. i just hope i can stay awake for the whole game, i have to resist going up to bed at halftime and trying to watch the 2nd half in bed. it never works for sunday and monday night football games

We seem to be on a roll right now. PLaying quality ball and winning games. I hope this isn't a trap game. We should be able to pull it out.

That is one of the nice things about living on the West Coast. I've got my DVR set to record the game at 6 p.m. and I will watch it on delay when I get home from work. I never worry about games ending too late! GO JOHNNIES!!

I remember when I was in Hawaii and got all the late game scores before the sun set or at least before I had my second cocktail.

I don't know why but I am nervous about this game.

Same here but I used to get nervous when we played Marathon Oil. I sometimes can't watch road games on TV b/c I think I am going to jinx them lol.

Me too, seems like we're due for a big letdown.

Given that we haven't won on their home court since 1998, you should be nervous. And if we do lose (which I'm praying we don't), the last thing I want to hear out of any player's mouth is "We just weren't focused enough on this game" or "They wanted it more than we did" or any of those usual cliches that put a knife through the heart.

Ok.. This weather does a number on your emotional well being. But, if we are to lose, just don't put any weight onto what players say. It will only mean that for whatever reason, things didn't click. When you lose, rarely do basketball players say anything that makes sense. In baseball, sometimes a pitcher will say something meaningful, like "I was having trouble gripping the ball", or "My breaking ball wasn't sharp", or "I was having trouble with location". In basketball its a little simpler. "We couldn't stop.." so and so. "My shots weren't dropping". It's a little harder to quantify than other sports. At least I believe that to be true.

Let's hope we win this one, and don't have to deal with it.

@StJohnsBBall: Jamal Branch is a game-time decision after root canal surgery yesterday. #sjubb
