25-26 Season

Happy overall, but puts a ton of pressure on the kid Lewis. Jackson is not a pg at all, and Wilcher is not a pure pg.
This is a ridiculous hypothetical, but bear with me, because it makes a point.
1.Assume CRP would open the door for RJ.
2. RJ says: I will come back now for $2 million.
3: RJ says “but for my NBA future I want to play about 20 minutes a game at PG.

Would you as a fan want him back?
Would CRP take him back?
Just letting my late parents know I did take 9 credits of philosophy at SJU. Our SJU, the one and only.

“Ridiculous hypothetical” indeed.

Knowing that PG experiment would last for the first game and then be shelved, yes I would!

Disagree that Jackson isn't a PG at all. He's a combo. He didn't have the chance to show it at NC with Cadeau and RJ (and Trimble). I do think that Wilcher will take a massive step forward, but there is some doubt obviously after a lackluster year.

What is missing from Jackson-Wilcher-Lefty trio? Tons of shooting, good passing, ability to bring up the ball, etc. Wilcher and especially Jackson can defend athletic guards. Mitchell or Hopkins can bring the ball up against any 4's if needed.

Prey, Mitchell, and Hopkins can take their men off the bounce. Jackson obviously can too. Run some offense though Hopkins in the mid post with shooters spacing the floor around him.

I may stand corrected but wasn't Lefty a point guard when he played in Greece? In the hypothetical lineups, why not shift Lefty to point guard and Wilcher to shooting guard? If he was a point guard in Greece, at least he has experience playing the position.

He was a shooting guard that could pass and dribble. He is also very crafty in the PnR. He fits into that combo category or even point-forward category.

This is the evolution of the game...5 guys that can drible, pass, and shoot.

Enjoy. IMO he’s my choice for backup pg minutes before Sim, but sim also showed a lot more facilitating ability in HS and during freshmen year even than he did last season.

Jackson has played PG in the past pre UNC. I found evidence. If Zags says it it must be true. ;)
