Practices might be more competitive than games
A Wilcher/Sellers/Mitchell/Prey/Vince second 5 could beat half Big East teams lol

Agree. Hoping he is the motivation to finally get Sim playing to the potential I believe he has.I would imagine he sees himself ahead of Wilcher. We mostly don't, but his resume is superior. He may not even see that as a speed bump. He can also play the 2 and 3 and might be thinking he can backup the 1.
I expect him to be improved but I also expect him to be in the group with Sanon/Sellers/Jackson (hopefully on the latter two) at the 2/3 rather than the Wilcher/Lee (hopefully) group at the 1/2.We need to get Ian or Xavier. One part of this though that has been quiet- Jaiden Glover could be a nice surprise and have a breakout year.
If we are lucky enough to grab Mitchell then need to be prepared for plenty of SF minutes for Hopkins. Which opens up a whole mess of overlap between 4/5 guys looking for minutes on the wing.View attachment 4800
What if I told you:
PG/SG: Jackson, Lewis, Wilcher
SG/SF: Sanon, Sellers, Glover, Liotopoulos, Ayo
F: Hopkins, Mitchell, Prey
C: Zuby, Vince, Maker
Late game situations at PG would scare me. See turnovers/meh ball handling/not many great passers. At same time, we'd be an explosive offense.View attachment 4800

I’m thinking (or hoping) the delay in these additions has as much to do with who would be going out.
That’s not my point. I agree completely how those two would fit. But then theres Sanon, sellers, Jackson, Ayo, Glover, Lefty, Wilcher who all figure to in lineups as a “3”. If those two are included, someone(s) getting #megasqueezed.Hopkins and Mitchell would both just be forwards IMO. Hopkins more of the three role on offense with his skillset. You'd want Mitchell on the quicker forward on defense, but there will be so much switching it doesn't matter that much.

you could just say "i agree with LMF"Yeah, I am with you there. The three spot is squeezed in both directions. Sanon is a pure 3 to me next year. I just feel for these young kids, man. How the hell can you show loyalty and still get minutes? Lefty, Glover, Maker...it's brutal.
It does seem like Pitino is angling to do a PG by committee next year. I'm strangely okay with that if one of those guards is Jackson.
Happy overall, but puts a ton of pressure on the kid Lewis. Jackson is not a pg at all, and Wilcher is not a pure pg.View attachment 4800
