Even though we sure stink today. To say this will be a long season. We won’t finish top half of big east. We won’t make the tourney is hasty. Sure we stink. And IF we play this way the rest of the season. Sure. But come on. It’s easy to over react watching this. And yes I put money on the money line so I’m very angry right now. But stop the nonsense that the season is lost based on this game.

The reason for the horrible shooting day is because this team can not generate good looks in the halfcourt offense against a high level defense. That has been a problem throughout Anderson's tenure and basically the last 20 years in this program. It's not going to change for the better going forward
 
The announcers are absolutely correct. We have no half court defense or offense. We are poorly coached. Sad really.

Everything he’s said is 100% correct based on what he’s witnessed so far.
 
How many times will Posh lose the ball? How many lay ups can Iowa State make? How about the D against IS inbounds play….. unreal.

Valid point. I wouldn't say the season is lost, but IS certainly exposed our deficiencies. Some are correctable, some are not. If nothing else I think this game provided a dose of reality. End of day, it's going to be tough to win games against better teams when they don't allow us to play up tempo. And when we can't make defensive stops, we can't play up tempo. We'll see how we rebound.

You might think so. But we have missed open shots all day. Soriano has had four open looks from the FT line. Curbelo missed at least three jumpers in the paint.
