First game away from the friendly confines of Queens and Brooklyn. Tough one against a nationally ranked team in a hostile environment. Win this game and we will gain respect.
 
After a promising start, our free throw shooting is looking to be a significant weakness again. Shot 67.7% last year, shooting 67.4% this year. Cannot keep giving away free points as this team will get to the line a fair amount with Posh, Curbelo & Soriano. 3 point shooting at 32.5% compared to 33.5% last year.

To date Soriano has taken by far the most free throws. He is shooting 60 percent as opposed to 70 percent last year. His form looks good so hopefully he can be a little more steady.
David Jones takes by far the most three pointers and is shooting 30 percent about what he shot last year.

Imahave Jets and Giants games on big screen toggling back and forth on Directv, Packers on 17” ASUS computer from my NFL package from Directv and Johnnies on my 13-3” Apple laptop. 🤪🤣 Will also record Johnnies game to watch later on big screen.

been waiting a long time for my Jets to be playing meaningful December football. Johnnies can take the laptop screen for at least the first half and then get the big screen after Jets game ends

I'll be watching the Redskins (Commanders) and will incrementally watch the Johnnies game between stoppages and once the former is a final.

My Dad is a big Giants fan. That game has a lot of playoff implications. Good luck.

Yea overall the NFL slate this weekend is one of the best of the entire year. A Shame the Johnnies play right in the middle of it

I have a sports hierarchy where i rank my teams based on how much I care about them and want to see them win.

St John's definitely sits at the top.

1) SJU
2) Jets
3) Knicks
4) Mets
5) Rangers

However, when you consider there are only 17 NFL games, and only 7 AFC playoff spots, the Jets have to take center stage at this point in the season with a 7-4 record and essentially a 50/50 shot of making the playoffs.

But this all kind of a moot point because i'm still gonna stream the SJU first half and then move SJU to center stage for the second half.

Anyways. Back to Iowa St.

I watched some of their game against a mid major opponent last night. They are definitely good. Almost all of their 3s came from this kid Caleb Grill who can def shoot it. We gotta give him the Joe Girard treatment. We have a chance in this game for sure.

We need a big Soriano game. Uconn made easy work out of ISU, mainly because they out rebounded them an astounding 48-19!! If we can control the glass and stick to their shooter(s), we can take this one.
