I think this school hired Mike Bibby as coach and Shaq as the GM so I guess they are trying to “bulk up” the program.Sacramento St. is a long way from MSG. He must be getting some not so good advice.

Sac State is pouring money into their athletic department. They may have a JMU type meteoric rise. (They are also gunning to be the 8th team in the Pac-8/10/12). I always like these types of stories. I hope it works out for them and Sacramento State Gardner! They are reportedly trying to be a full member in the Mountain West.
The Kings regularly sell out Golden One arena and AAA River Cats draw decent crowds at their 9,000 seat stadium in West Sacramento, but Sac State has never drawn decent crowds for basketball or football. Possibly Mike Bibby can create some excitement because he was a popular player when he was with the Kings.Sac State is pouring money into their athletic department. Without a doubt this is the most talented roster as a whole ever assembled at St. John's. There were teams with better individual players such as the Mullin, Berry, Jackson and Wennington teams but not the top to bottom talent we will have thanks to CRP and Mike Repole. No longer see a 25-26 roster thread so guessing this is the best place to post this (mods please move if needed).
247sports re-ranked today and Odin moved up to #65 (10 spots higher).
While there, I was looking at our top all time recruits in the 247 era. #1 is Sim Wilcher at .9869 and #2 is Rysheed Jordan at .9806
Three recruits this year out of high school would eclipse that.
Dillon Mitchell - .9983
Ian Jackson - .9970
Joson Sanon - .9914
Bryce Hopkins just missed at .9857
