2025 Portal

Ironically, Glover would have been far better off NOT going to a high major as a freshman. Had he instead put up some numbers at a mid-major, he would be more in demand now and likely pocket a lot more money. It's a brand new world out there.
Likely to be a one year stay. Getting material minutes, puts up some numbers this year. Goes back next year to high major and gets paid. CBB in 2025 - good and bad but....

I was thinking this would be inevitable. It can be very beneficial for both teams...you send a team like LIU kids they would never be able to sign like Maker and Glover, let them get major minutes, monitor them closely, schedule some joint practices and scrimmages, and then take them up.

It could get to the point that someone like Pitino would install his system at the lower school and have one of his assistants oversee it.

When a kid like Vince transfers out...you steer them to the lower team. Perhaps help out with some $ too.

I think this starts off with buyouts and could eventually get to this.

The Boyd kid at SDSU had one, but its a rare thing. I think it'll eventually be very standard, if not required, once there's rules around freedom of movement. It is the easiest way to help everybody.
Is that what kept the big man there?
