Let's hope so.

With #104 Sellers committing to the Johnnies (along with many others to BE teams) here are the midweek 247 Transfer Portal rankings (4/16/25):
#5 Creighton
#16 Georgetown
#19 Providence
#20 Xavier
#22 St. John's
#28 UConn
#37 Butler
#69 DePaul
#74 Seton Hall
#98 Villanova
1 team without transfers (Marquette)

Nova is finally on the board, but Willard has a lot of work to do.

A week ago I would've expected the Johnnies to be higher at this point (#TheMegaHaul hype bust lol), but given our NIL it will happen soon enough. With the Portal soon shutting down (to new additions) I'd be surprised if we don't land a couple top 100 players within the week.

I have No idea what Shaka is doing. He needs to replace a lot of offense this upcoming season

your last sentence speaks volumes

Say's we are sixth at the moment:

Interesting, good to see. When I posted they already had Sellers listed to the Johnnies, but maybe this list hadn't refreshed yet.

#22 seems crazy with Hopkins, Sanon, and Sellers. #6 feels more accurate, but I also don't know the rest of the country is doing outside of our conference.

Hopefully #8 Jackson commits tomorrow. Looking at the other teams, that may push the Johnnies to #1 on this list.

Pretty high ranking for PC with all their defections. Nova at same level as Hall is kind of nuts.

I'm actually surprised to see some of these other BIg East teams so high, thought their pickups have been more quantity than high quality.

Quantity really affects the way 247 does their ratings., I think the top six teams on the list are happy with their incoming transfers and I’d be surprised if UConn and us don’t jump up a spot or two before it’s all done. Truthfully, if any one of those teams told me they deserved to be ranked higher, I think they’d have a good argument.

The big east loaded back up after a disappointing year. Sorry Seton Hall.

Johnnies up to #2 in the 247 Transfer Portal rankings with the Jackson commitment!

Only a small fraction of a point behind Michigan on their scale (36 vs 35.88).

I do think sorting by average tells more, and SJU is three on that list. Uconn, which isn't turning over all its rotation players goes from 32 to 4.

And very good chance Yaxel doesn’t make it
