2025-2026 Schedule

Kentucky controls the entire game and beats Purdue by double digits and UK was missing their starting PG. Kentucky is DEEP. Going to be a very tough game
Kentucky, UCONN away, and probably Creighton away, are three games that I do not expect us to be favored in.

If those are the only three, we're going to be pretty good.

Having seen these guys twice in action… 2 things are clear to me.
1. We are talented
2. It’s gonna take some time…

Now, we can’t afford it to take too much time… as we have 6 games in the OOC to show how good we are… maybe some BE teams surprise in their OOC slate and we have more than UConn / Creighton for key wins during our Conference slate…

Updating my prediction…
We need to go atleast 3-3 between Vegas and the 3 SEC teams…

OOC: 8-3
Conf: 15-5
BET: Win
4 seed
Elite 8

Because schools that have a "white out" or whatever "color-out" usually provide the shirt. That's why it actually looks and feels legit. We do it for white out games at MSG. But last year's game against DePaul, you'd have no idea.

it's especially weird this year because this is a fantastic promo, so why not make it the red out day instead?

It's so bizarre. Our marketing needs to get it together. Any color "out" has to come with a t-shirt of that color. Minor league baseball teams can do this so there is no excuse for the #5 team in the country.

MSG looks beautiful when everyone is wearing red.

“One sleeve at a time” marketing approach. 🫣

Lets hope they go 3-1 in those 4 games
That’s the current ranked 5 (SJU), 1 (Purdue), 17 (Illinois), and 21 (Gonzaga). They also have out of conference Arizona (13) in December. Arizona might be far better than #13 soon.

I RESPECT the hell out of that type of scheduling. Those are all NON Conference games. These are the type of matchups fans want.

You are absolutely right . Not much benefit in playing Quinnipiac or , Fordham, Etc .
We did play Michigan but , that didn’t count .
It did provide a look at how we stack up , against top 10 teams .
Arizona knocking off Florida was big for the Wildcats . And , only marginally hurts Florida .
I guess Boogie and Lee played ok but , until further notice , they only play with 1 basketball .
They are natural PG’s , use to having the ball almost the time .
Alabama is a good OOC game . Gets better if we win .

They’ve been doing that every year under Oats. One of if not the toughest schedules in the country annually.

All schools play mid majors. Quinnipiac is preseason favorite in their conference. Nothing wrong with having them scheduled when expected to do well in conference. Think them looking bad had a lot to do with us.

Look at everyone's schedule but specifically Arizona schedule.

Utah Tech next game then upcoming Northern Arizona, Denver and Bethune cookman.

Just like in every season; you're gonna see one of these mid-majors pluck a high-major (ranked or not). I wouldn't doubt it happens within the next few days.

Exactly, UCONN plays 5 relative cupcakes (New Haven, UMASS Lowell, Bryant, Columbia & East Texas A&M) as do we (Quinnipiac, William & Mary, Bucknell, Iona & Harvard). To be expected. Bama's schedule a little tougher as they only play 4 but all high majors play some bye games.
