2025-2026 Schedule

I think they said point differential
I’m admittedly not looking too much into it right now so could be simple lol. Seems so weird to me that there could be 4 teams who are all 2-0 after the first two days and then 2 of them get thrown in the “3rd place” game

Especially with such a broad range of quality opponents. UNLV and Syracuse are about to get spanked.

If point differential is the determining factor in tie breaking scenarios, then Kansas is a shoe-in with Notre Dame and Syracuse as their opponents

Who here plans on going to Atlanta or Vegas or both ? I’m definitely going to Atlanta I know Ejoyce 114 Redstormrising and Wendell are going to Atlanta. I think I might be able to swing the Vegas Monday and Tuesday and fly home Wednesday

Decided to skip Vegas. Just don't want to deal spend Thanksgiving traveling, staying there or going out there & miss last game and airport nuts. Not a gambler so not really interested in staying longer. Different than a warm weather location

99% sure will be in Atlanta. Daughter wants to come w/ us too as she big SJU fan but she's at North Carolina now for grad school and they are the other game. Will 4 hr drive morning of. Not sure if we'll drive home after games vs. stay night. Sucks because driving up to NY on 12/22 for Christmas and will get to Carnesecca for the 12/23 game v. Harvard.

Stay the night of the Atlanta game because I'm going to do the Redfan party after the game near the Arena

Thank you. This is a great point I wasn’t considering. I was planning to fly back on Wednesday but that Thanksgiving travel day could be really messed up. Now reconsiderubg

This is a great point regarding the Thanksgiving timing, starting on Monday and ending super late (🤞 for the Championship game) the night before Thanksgiving is rough timing. Either you travel on Thanksgiving or spend a week in Vegas. Baha Mar was still a 10/10 trip for me despite the Baylor game (plus I left before Georgia), but Vegas doesn't have the same amenities. Hopefully we'll get a warm weather location next year.

I'd be surprised if we aren't doing it next year as well, especially since they'll be expanding it to 32 teams.

If it helps us land a top transfer class again I'm all for it, but I do hope the warm weather destinations adapt to the NIL landscape. Vegas just doesn't interest me much and Thanksgiving in the perfect time to go to somewhere like Atlantis or Maui.

I think folks are underestimating how much fun Vegas will be. I loved Baja Mar but it was a fortune. The reason Vegas is doing this big event and throwing money at NIL is to attract people to come visit (and spend money) at an otherwise quiet week. Round trip flights from NYC Sat-Wed are approximately $250. And there are outstanding 4 star hotels for $200 per night. There’s also a raiders home game on Sunday afternoon for us football fans. And there will be thousands of the most loyal diehard college basketball fans from all over the country so everyone you meet will be just as excited to talk hoops. For those questioning the amenities, Vegas has unbelievable restaurants, nightlife, pool clubs, etc. it’s going to be a BLAST.

See you there!

I kind of agree but it’s a totally different thing, not just price. Baha mar was great because the whole family could go, and it was the week before Thanksgiving so didn’t interfere with the holiday. Thanksgiving week away from the family is hard or rushing back on Wednesday.

But yea getting drunk, stoned, gambling, watching some ball, other Vegas entertainment will be a blast. FYI, I think the weekend before is F1 so Vegas will be pretty crazy that weekend. But I got a great room for pennies compared to Baha mar. Basically every mgm property has free rooms that week from what I saw, Vegas has been hurting lately.
